Our success Stories
We often hear some of the most tragic and heartbreaking situations. From pets with severe injuries to pets dealing with untreated illnesses, it's a tough journey. For example, we've financially assisted with pets who have been hit by cars, suffering from chronic conditions, and even pets who have had their care put aside for far too long because their families had to choose between vet care or feeding their family.
As an organization, we receive numerous financial aid applications for animals in dire need of medical attention. Sometimes, we feel it's best not to share the details of certain cases. While we understand that as a nonprofit, our supporters like to see where their donations are going, we also recognize the emotional toll these stories can take on everyone involved.
We apologize for not posting every case we assist with, and we hope you understand that our foundation is built on kindness and compassion. We believe that sometimes, it's kinder to spare the heartache of reliving these moments.

Kitty
Meet Kitty. Kitty is 15 years old and recently got sick, which caused him to stop grooming himself. As a result, his fur became badly matted, and he even had a cut that needed attention.
Kitty’s owner reached out to us for help and we sent them to Pocono Peak for care and covered $200 of the medical bill. Luckily, the amazing staff at Pocono Peak were able to step in and give him the care he needed. It was such a relief for Kitty to have his fur cleaned and the cut taken care of. The love and attention they showed him made him feel so much better.
Stella
2 year old Pitbull
Gus
This is Gus. He is a 1 year old pit bull. After getting into a tussle with another dog Gus had a leg injury that did not get the treatment it needed to heal and was on his way to get euthanized. The community reached out to Paws for a Cause and with help from local vets/shelters we were able to get Gus the surgery he needed! After recovery Gus was able to find a loving family to spend the rest of his life with!!
Ava
This 2 year old Husky was puking up blood and bleeding pus put of her reproductive system. Ava went to a local vet who diagnosed her with pyometra and determined she needed surgery. Paws for a Cause sent Ava to one of our participating vets office and they diagnosed Ava with a GI issue and saved her from having unnecessary surgery.
Reaper
This precious puppy was in need of our help. Reaper is training to become a service dog, but recently couldn't bear weight on his leg. The owner was worried, but unfortunately didn't have the funds to get the dog checked out. That's where we stepped in and sent the pup to Pocono Peak. Turns out, Reaper's ball joint is smaller than the socket, and his bones aren't very strong. If it doesn't start to grow more, surgery will be necessary.
Karl
Karl loves chin and back scratches, lap cuddles, and to be sung to! His owner has had him since he was six weeks old. Unfortunately, Karl has been having some dental issues, which are quite common in cats. Dental problems can lead to pain, difficulty eating, and other health issues if not addressed. Thankfully, our friends at Boulevard Veterinary Care Center are going to see Karl this Tuesday to give him some relief.
